Camp Connaughton

For awhile now Patrick has been wanting to take Bella camping, a little trial camping that is......in the backyard! So Friday he set up a camp site in our back yard. Luke and Katie brought Bella and Madi over and Patrick met them out front. He had little lanterns and flash lights for them. He told the girls, they had to hike to the site. The walked along the back picking up sticks for the fire. He led them to the back gate and this is what they saw! We roasted hot dogs on the fire and then later SMORES!!! Bella had never had one before! Needless to say, she fell in love. She kept saying "this is so good patrick" After smores we went into the tent and Bella was telling stories.

Bella story was about.....well first of all I need to explain that when we thought we were having a boy, we were going to name him Jack, so that is what everyone told Bella, that we were having a baby Jack. When we found out it was a girl, I had wanted to name her Cate, so Bella says baby Cate. We are really going to confuse the crap out of her because we are now not %100 on the name. So back to her story.....she started it Once upon a time, there was a little boy name Jack and a baby Cate. Patrick and I just burst out laughing. Poor thing.........
